This is my favorite knife. I have the older one without the hook. Sturdy, and the main blade really sharpens nicely with a whetstone. The second best feature is the scissors - good especially for blister trimming in the field, except the spring broke once.

I give this knife a 7 out of 10. I have owned Swiss Army Knives my whole life. As a kid I would just accuire one from somewhere and then lose it. I would find another one and lose it and another one would come around. The climber is the first Swiss Army Knife I bought. This is a great knife for the adverage outdoorsmen. I myself after looking at all the products would have gone for the next one up. The one with woodsaw and medium blade, and the philips head because I am outdoors alot and would have more use for the next one up but the Climber works great it gets the job done. Just trying to figure out what and how I would use the hook tool.
