In 2005 Wenger created the first ergonomic Swiss Army Knife, making resourcefulness more comfortable than ever before. Now the EvoGrip expands on that advance. The four major areas of contact your hand makes when utilizing the RangerGrip 179 Wenger Patagonian Expedition Race Swiss Army Knife are embedded with non-slip rubber and a locking blade, increasing its safety, performance and efficiency. RangerGrip Swiss Army Knives are truly a symbol of Wenger's unwillingness to be satisfied with a classic even after more than a century. With 11 implements, the RangerGrip 179 Wenger Patagonian Expedition Race Swiss Army Knife is as useful as it is advanced. The hi-visibility yellow body helps you see it even in the bottom of a backpack.

Excellent Knife Review by Brent
Rating

I have a couple of Victorinox knives and a Ranger 151. Each of them are a fine instrument, but I was looking for something that was a little more utility in a bigger knife like the Ranger, and I think I found it in this RangerGrip 179. It has all the tools I want especially the saw tool. At 4.2 inches, that's a saw. The color makes it easier to find in a pack or drawer. The finish is very good, and I really like the feel of the RangerGrip. The grip of the Ranger feels a little like plastic, because it is, but the RangerGrip feels like hardened rubber. It feels better in the hand. Don't misunderstand, the Ranger 151 is a very nice knife. Now, I'm looking at the other RangerGrip knives ... but don't tell my wife. ;-)
