I am in panic if this knife is misplaced in my kitchen. I bought the first one in a U.S
flea market in 1998 but could not find it again until your web site popped up. Now
I share them. I love the red ones to give at xmas and Valentine's day.
I am a Swiss-ophile and have lived in a mountain village, Villars sur Ollon.
These sterling quality knives remind me of the Alps.

We bought a couple of these knives from the Swiss Knife shop in Maine in 1994. These work really well and stay sharp for several years. We are vegetarians and chop a lot of vegetables and these have served us really well. I have since bought these as gifts for my daughters and other friends.

I just can't live without these knives, and they make AWESOME gifts! They are incredibly sharp (in either handle color) We like the red because we use them ALL the time and it makes them easy to find in the drawer.
You do have to be careful when you first get them, takes a little time to get used to not cutting yourself, they are thta sharp. We don't eat meat, but they are tops for vegetables, bread, you name it. I can't praise them enough. The price is unbelievable for the quality. They last forever!

My aunt gave me one of these knives in 1994 and until the day it disappeared from my home it was still as sharp as it was when she gave it to me.
