The ZWILLING Pure line of German-forged knives was developed by Zwilling J.A. Henckels in collaboration with Italian designer Matteo Thun. This line of fine kitchen cutlery is innovative and practical - blending form and function.

The curved bolster of each ZWILLING Pure knife provides a soft transition to the blade, maximizing balance, safety and support to the thumb. The unique geomentry of the wedge of the blade maximizes stability and cutting strength. Each edge has an angle of 15 degrees - 30 total, and a hand polishing give the edge a final finish for ultimate sharpness. Each ZWILLING Pure knife is forged in Germany from stainless steel that has an ideal balance of chromium and carbon content. Blades are forged with the patented SIGMAFORGE process, which achieves perfect geometry, high precision and improved stability, forging the entire blade and tang from one piece of this steel. As with all FRIODUR Henckels knives, the blades of the knives in this collection have been ice-hardened to enhance their quality. The result of this patented process is a blade that is especially flexible and resistant to rusting, corrosion, staining and pitting. The blade has a full tang, adding to the balance and strength of the piece.

The blade and bolster transition seamlessly to the handle for easy handling. The handle is molded to fit comfortably in your hand. It is hygenic and food safe.

Though ZWILLING Pure knives are dishwasher safe, it is highly recommended that they be cleaned by hand.
