The Victorinox (formerly Forschner*) 9 inch Regular Cut Sharpening Steel by Victorinox has a round steel and a plastic handle. It is made in Sheffield, England exclusively for Forschner.

When selecting a steel, choose one that is 2 inches longer than the knife you wish to sharpen.

A sharpening steel does not really "sharpen" the knife. Using a steel properly actually takes the rolled over edge off of a knife - in effect straightening, or realigning the knife blade, restoring its effectiveness.
