Shipping

What shipping methods do you offer?

All orders of $20 or more at Swiss Knife Shop have the option of Standard Free Shipping, but please note that Standard Shipping is not time-definite. 

If you need your order within a specific timeframe, we recommend you choose an upgraded shipping option to better assure timely delivery.
We offer shipping upgrades at simple fixed cost, regardless of the size of your order.

STANDARD SHIPPING: 4-7 Days in Transit (FREE for orders of $20+, $4.50 for orders under $20)
3-DAY: 3 Business Days in Transit ($15.99)
2-DAY: 2 Business Days in Transit ($24.99)
NEXT BUSINESS DAY: 1 Business Day ($49.99)

How long does your Free Standard Shipping take?

Our Standard Shipping is free on every order of $20 or more, every day. Orders shipped with this method will arrive 4 - 7 days after they leave our building.

HANDLING & ENGRAVING TIME:
Orders with 1, 2 or 3-day upgraded shipping generally ship the same day the order is processed.
* Orders for in-stock, UN-ENGRAVED items ship within 1-3 business days. 
* Orders for ENGRAVED, in-stock items ship within 5 business days.

Do you ship internationally?

Unfortunately, at this time the Swiss Knife Shop does NOT ship internationally. We ship to the U.S. only, including APOs.

Can I ship to multiple addresses?

Unfortunately, we cannot ship to a single order to multiple addresses. Please place a separate order for each shipping destination.

When will my order ship?

Orders placed after 8:30 am, ET are generally processed the following business day.

* Orders for in-stock, UNENGRAVED items ship within 1-3 business days. 
* Orders for ENGRAVED, in-stock items ship within 5 business days.

My order never arrived.

Please follow the link in your order confirmation email, or log in to your account to view your order status.

Be sure that all of the items in your order have shipped already. If your order displays a package tracking number, click on that number to link directly to the shipper's package tracking status page. If your package shows a status of "delivered" please check to see if the package might have been delivered to someone else in your household or a neighbor before contacting Swiss Knife Shop.

Orders shipped via US Postal Service First Class mail do not always have tracking numbers. First Class delivery service averages about five business days from shipment date. In rare cases allow as much as 2-3 weeks for delivery of First Class mail.

How do I change quantities or cancel an item in my order?

If you need to change quantities, cancel an item, or make other changes to your order, please telephone our customer service department immediately.

We do not recommend that you email change or cancellation requests, as your order may be in process and may be shipped prior to receipt and processing of your email.

I received my order, and something is wrong.

An item is missing from my shipment.
Please follow the link in your order confirmation email, or log in to your account to view your order status. Be sure that all of the items in your order are marked as shipped already. At times, we will partially ship an order while we wait for the rest of the order to come back into stock. 

I received the wrong product.
If you feel that you have received the wrong product, please contact customer service within 72 hours of receiving the product.

My product is missing parts.
If you have received a product that appears to be missing parts, please contact customer service for assistance.

Was I charged twice for my order?

When you place your order on our site, we only receive an initial authorization on your credit card. This is not a charge, and no money is removed from your account at that time.

When we process your order and send it to our engraving department or warehouse, we finalize the transaction. It is only at this time that your card is charged against that authorization. The authorization will then disappear.

If your item is out of stock or you cancel your order before processing, the authorization will disappear from your account after a few days without a final charge being put through. (Number of days will vary according to your bank or credit card company's policies.)

Returns & Exchanges

When will my backordered item arrive?

We maintain a huge inventory of the products we sell. However, occasionally we run out of stock on popular items creating a backorder for that item.

We place orders with our suppliers daily, so out-of-stock items typically come back into stock within a matter of days. When an item is back in stock, we will ship it to you immediately.

I earned points with my last purchase, but now I want to return it. What will happen to my reward?

You won’t receive points if you return your purchase, or your purchase is canceled for any reason. Please note that any points you earn on a purchase you later return will be deducted from your point balance.

Engraving

How long does engraving take?

Orders placed after 8:30 am, ET are generally processed the following business day. 

* Orders for engraved, in-stock items with standard free shipping are engraved and shipped within 5 business days.

* Orders for engraved, in-stock items with 1, 2 or 3-day upgraded shipping are generally engraved and shipped the same day the order is processed.

Can you engrave an item I bought somewhere else?

Unfortunately, we only offer engraving on items purchased from Swiss Knife Shop at the time they are purchased.
