This R.H. Forschner 3-Piece Curved Handle Set by Victorinox features three knives with Polypropylene handles. Crevices that would offer hospitality to bacteria are minimized. As with all R.H. Forschner knives, the handle is ergonomically designed to minimize wrist tension and provides a natural fit.
This set includes one of each of the following essential kitchen knives:
- 3 1/2 inch Fine Edge Classic Parer with a tapered tip perfect for carving out the eye of a potato or the blemishes on a peach;
- 3 1/2 inch Sheep's Foot Parer with a serrated, straight edge ideal for slicing vegetables such as carrots and zucchini;
- 4 1/4 inch Tomato/Sausage Knife with a serrated edge and blunt tip.
Forschner
knives all have high carbon, stainless steel blades that are hand finished at Victorinox in
Switzerland by skilled craftsmen. Each knife is stamped from a single sheet
of metal. The blade is then hardened, tempered, ground, polished, etched
and finished. Victorinox uses a special tempering process to produce an
edge that can be resharpened over and over again.
