Originally built for hard-working San Francisco bicycle messengers, the Timbuk2 Classic Messenger Bag has been in continuous production since 1989. Known worldwide for its long-lasting, rugged durability and three-panel multi-color design, the Classic Messenger is the perfect way to carry everything from school books and daily essentials to laundry and sports gear.
The Classic Messenger features a ballistic nylon exterior, heavy-duty stitching and a waterproof liner. Each bag also has a quick-adjust side-cam shoulder strap and removable cross strap (not available on the extra-small) for easy carrying. In addition, it has reflector tails and a safety flasher attachment to keep you visible and safe.
The inside of the Classic Messenger sports a waterproof liner, a front pocket with an extra zippered pocket and pen slots, internal pockets and a red key tether to keep you organized. The internal pockets include additional pen slots, a business card slot, and a fleece-lined cell phone pocket.

The extra-small messenger is a mini version of the classic. It has plenty of room for your wallet, keys, phone, iPod, sunglasses, one sandwich and a box of mints. It keeps your most essential items at your side.
The small messenger is file folder size. It is perfectly suited for notebooks, dossiers, or the Sunday paper, plus an umbrella, water bottle, and your other daily essentials.
The medium messenger, the most popular size, is great for a trip to the gym or the beach. You can easily stow your towel, a hoodie, a pair of shoes, a water bottle and sunscreen in this bag.
The large messenger fits two 12-packs, two bottles of wine and a corkscrew. It gets you anywhere you need to go.
The extra-large messenger is the bicycle messenger's favorite. On the job, it fits a standard-size file box. On the weekend, it fits a week's worth of laundry, a roll of quarters, and the Sunday paper.
