Leave it to Victorinox, makers of the legendary Swiss Army Knife, to combine the safety features of a locking blade with the versatility of a multi-tool. The model I tested, the Swisstool “Spirit,” came packed with a mind-boggling 23 features.
The Spirit is all about high quality construction, which was immediately apparent when I first took it out of its box; it's a stable, sturdy tool. With solid construction and two dozen features. Some of the tools on the Spirit might not overwhelm you—for example, you’re not going to be felling any old growth timber with the wood saw. But when you need a small saw to cut through a small branch or wooden pole, you’re in luck.

I'll never buy a Leatherman(or Gerber) again |

For years I carried various Leatherman products and occasionally a Gerber product. The price of this tool scared me but I got a little money for X-Mas and decided to risk it.
Within 2 seconds of opening the tool I realized it had been worth it. The quality and precision of this tool completely blows away anything else I've seen. The other tools aren't even close.
The tools open easily, the tool is smooth with no rough edges and the locking mechanisms on the individual implements is excellent.
This multi-tool would be a bargain at twice the price. I am now in the process of trading and selling all of my "lesser" tools so I can buy more of these.
