The LAMY pico ballpoint pen was designed to fit perfectly in your pocket, or in your hand. This innovative writing instrument stores very compactly at just 3.5 inches when not in use, and expands to 5 inches with the simple push of a button, making it a very comfortable pen to write with. A small metal LAMY logo plate is strategically placed to keep this pen from rolling off the table, as well.
The LAMY pico red features a colorful matte lacquer finish.

This honor, awarded annually for over 50 years in Hannover, Germany, is one of the world's leading design awards, recognizing outstanding contemporary design and innovation. In 2004, it won the Design Award of Germany, the official recognition of excellence in design offered by the Federal Republic of Germany.
The pico ballpoint pen uses LAMY M 22 ballpoint refills (available in black or blue and a variety of sizes), and comes with the medium black refill.
