| The Caran d'Ache Ecridor Collection - When Tradition Becomes a Benchmark
The Caran d'Ache Retro Ecridor Silver- and Rhodium-Plated Collection features four writing instruments: a fountain pen (available with a medium, broad or fine steel nib), ballpoint pen, rollerball pen, and mechanical pencil. Each of these writing instruments has a rhodium coating with silver-plated trim. The rhodium finish has a beautiful silvery sheen. Rhodium is a rare precious metal which never shows any signs of tarnish.
The hexagonal body of each piece is made of brass with a flexible clip. The Caran d'Ache logo is on the button.
The fountain pens are supplied with a piston pump and two Caran d'Ache cartridges, and can be used either with the ink reservoir pump or with ink cartridges. The roller balls are supplied with a fine black cartridge, the ballpoint pens with a blue Goliath giant cartridge, and the mechanical pencils with leads of 0.7 mm diameter.
The Goliath cartridge features a steel point containing a free-turning ball in tungsten carbide that provides a clean blot-free line. It delivers up to 600 pages of handwriting.
All Ecridor writing instruments come in a burgundy jewelers box and include a care and instructions manual and a warranty card.
